Chandni Tiwari, PhD (She/Her)

Chandni has a PhD in Biophysical Chemistry from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Her work focuses on how particular proteins accumulate onto each other to form amyloids.

These amyloids are known to cause diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. If the proper mechanism behind the amyloid formation is known, we may have the option to treat Alzheimer-like diseases even before it starts showing their symptoms in an individual!

Chandni is available to speak on topics relating to:

  • Biochemistry

  • Microbiology

  • Cell Biology

  • Bioinformatics

  • Basic Physical Chemistry
