Elysse GRossi-SOyster, MS (they/them)

Elysse is a PhD candidate studying RNA viruses (including SARS-CoV-2) and circular RNA molecules within the Microbiology & Immunology department at Stanford University School of Medicine.

They previously investigated mosquito-borne viruses around the world, and have also worked for NASA developing self-sustaining life support technologies for the Mars mission (or, how do we keep astronauts alive by repurposing various types of wastes).
